Some of the activities are in collaboration with Coalitions and networks. The day-to-day business of GAT and its general administration decision are taken and managed by the Executive Committee while policy issues are transferred to the Board of Trustees for appropriate advice.
GAT structure is made up of:
• The Board of Directors
• The Executive Committee
• Staff
• Volunteers
GAT collaborates with civil society groups and other organizations of like-passion in its activities. Civil society partners include: other women’s peace groups and networks, human rights and humanitarian organization and research institutions. The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is charged with the placement of all Graduates of Tertiary institutions with public and private organisations for hands on job experience over the duration of a year. GAT exploited the opportunity to request for Corp members and expose them to social work. The response was positive and for 3 years, NYSC members were posted to GAT, 2 of which were retained as GAT staff at the end of their mandatory service year.
